Industry Veteran Regina Dinning Dies At 44

Apr 13, 2017

POST FALLS, Idaho — Industry veteran, Regina Dinning, died here April 4 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 44.

Dinning was the business development director for online ad and technology company Netsertive. She had more than 15 years of home furnishings experience in marketing and advertising, including several years with Banner Marketing.

“Regina brought an incredible depth of knowledge and an acute understanding and respect of her clients,” said Netsertive CEO Brendan Morrisey.

Chuck Reilly, executive vice president of AICO, called Dinning “a great friend of the furniture industry.”

“She supported industry events, was an advocate for City of Hope and touched the hearts of many. Simply put, she made a difference, and those hearts are broken today as we will miss her so very much,” he added.

“Regina knew how to make people feel like they were special, no matter who they were,” said close friend Bonnie Melcher, who worked with Dinning at Netsertive. “She loved deeply and fiercely. Her family meant the most to her, and if you were lucky enough to be included in her circle, your world was forever changed for the better. She will be missed."

Len Burke, Klaussner Home Furnishings vice president of marketing, said, “Regina was very passionate about everything she did. She truly cared about solving her customer's problems and relentlessly helping those she worked with; she never stopped. The industry and the world is without a beautiful, caring and amazing person."

Dinning is survived by her husband Tony; daughter, Melinda, and son-in-law, Jim: grandson, Jameson; sons, Tyson and Collin; mother, LuRae; father, Roger, and his wife, Vicki; sister, Lucia; three brothers, Leon, Paul and John; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
